About The Author

Arieh Ben-Naim

Arieh Ben-Naim is Professor Emeritus of Physical Chemistry in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. He has authored 29 books and over 200 scientific articles. His research interests include the general theory of liquids and solutions, the theory of cooperativity and regulation in biochemical processes, and thermodynamics and statistical thermodynamics. He also focuses on the applications of statistical thermodynamics to biochemical problems, as well as probability and information theory and their applications in science.
