Andrea Trabocchi
Andrea Trabocchi, PhD, is Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Florence. His research interests include the synthesis of bioactive heterocycles, peptidomimetic chemistry, and the development of enzyme inhibitors for applications in oncology and Alzheimer’s disease.
Dr. Trabocchi has published over 100 scientific articles and holds 4 patents. He is a member of the advisory board for Chemical Society Reviews. He previously authored Peptidomimetics in Organic and Medicinal Chemistry (Wiley, 2014) and edited two other volumes focusing on diversity-oriented synthesis and small molecule drug discovery.
