About The Author

Amelia Blackwell

Amelia Blackwell holds a master’s degree in Creative Writing. She has a corn snake named Colin and a profound admiration for Jane Austen’s literary contributions. While the Boleyns feature in her family tree, it is through marriage rather than direct lineage. The character Baron John de Halighwell, Georgiana Darcy’s most persistent suitor, is named after one of Amelia’s distant ancestors who resided in a grand estate that would impress even Lady Catherine de Bourgh. Amelia currently resides in Cornwall with her husband and children in a small house overlooking the sea.
