About Dr. Aly Cohen
Dr. Aly Cohen is a board-certified rheumatologist and integrative medicine physician. She is recognized as one of the nation’s foremost medical and legal authorities on environmental health.
Dr. Cohen frequently lectures on environmental health at universities, medical schools, and physician-training programs. She is also a faculty member at the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine, Southern California University of Health Sciences, and the University of California, Irvine.
Her extensive work in environmental health has led to numerous interviews with national print and television media, popular TEDx talks, and the publication of peer-reviewed medical articles. Dr. Cohen has also served as a legal medical expert in exposure-related cases and has collaborated with organizations such as the Environmental Working Group and Cancer Schmancer.
She has been honored with numerous awards for her contributions to health education, including the Burton L. Eichler Award for humanitarianism.
Currently, Dr. Cohen manages “The Smart Human” social media platform and podcast. She also continues her medical practice in Princeton, New Jersey. She resides on a farm with her husband, two sons, and their many pets.
