Adrian Hayward-Wills
ADRIAN HAYWARD-WILLS is a proud British Army veteran, having enlisted in 1981. He later served in other government agencies, a period in which he served two monarchs, advised the Metropolitan Police, the Prison Service, several Heads of Diplomatic Missions, Counter Terrorist Teams, and the UNDP, UNAMA, and the ICRC. He has operated globally in specialist roles, all at the forward edge of contact. Yet, while delivering at pace, he has emerged unscathed, having served in fragile locations most people care to see only on 24-hour news channels. He was also a qualified Close Protection Officer and a certified Medicines in Remote Areas practitioner, where he perfected his unique skill sets of humility, discipline, resilience, and humour when on task. Ending his service between deployments with the Rwandan Defence Force and Diego Garcia, he finally hung up his boots and medals in 2023.
