Abhishek Kandwal

Abhishek Kandwal (Senior Member, IEEE) is currently an Associate Professor in the School of CHIPS at Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University and holds an Honorary Associate position at the University of Liverpool, UK. He is recognized in the World Top 2% Scientist List by Stanford and Elsevier for 2025. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics, specializing in Electromagnetic Waves, in 2014. With over 14 years of research and teaching experience from leading global universities and research organizations, he has authored more than 150 international research publications and filed/been granted over 10 national/international patents. He served as an Associate Editor for IEEE Access Journal from 2019 to 2022. Currently, he is an Associate Editor for the Journal of King Saud University - Eng. Sci. (Springer, 2024-present), a Special Issue Editor for various journals at Elsevier, Springer, and Wiley (2023-present), and a member of the Editorial Board for Nature: Scientific Reports (2024-present) and Discover Materials and Discover Sensors (Springer, 2024-present).

Prof. Zedong Nie

Prof. Zedong Nie is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor in the Biomedical and Health Engineering department at the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIAT-CAS), China. Dr. Nie’s expertise lies in human body communication and wearable health technology. His research interests encompass noninvasive blood glucose monitoring, wearable sensors, communication systems and protocols, biometric verification, and AI/machine learning. He has received multiple Research Achievement Awards, filed over 60 invention patents and 7 PCT patents, with 33 invention patents already authorized. He has published more than 70 SCI/Scopus papers. He serves as an evaluation expert for the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Department, and is a reviewer for several esteemed IEEE Journals. He was honored as an Innovation and Entrepreneurial Talent of Shenzhen and has secured several national-level funding grants for glucose monitoring and human body communication research.

Dr. Rohit Jasrotia

Dr. Rohit Jasrotia holds a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science (Physics) from Shoolini University of Biotechnology and Management Sciences. He is presently working as a Research Fellow and Assistant Professor at INTI International University, Malaysia, and Shoolini University of Biotechnology and Management Sciences, India, since 2018. He has edited two books for Elsevier and published over 70 research articles in high-quality international peer-reviewed journals. He has been granted 6 Indian patents and authored 13 book chapters. Dr. Jasrotia is an active reviewer for more than 30 reputed international journals and supervises doctoral and master’s students. He has received the Best Researcher Award for his contributions to research and development.
