Critics Review

Praise for Everything Has Happened:“A haunting, beautifully written coming-of-age story of love, loss and a decades old mystery. Equal parts suspenseful and evocative, Greenwood proves her talent as a writer … A must read.” —Mary Kubica, New York Times bestselling author of Local Woman Missing“Past and present collide in this immersive, suspenseful coming-of-age story of love, loss, and haunting regrets. Greenwood writes with the aching beauty of a poet and the knife-sharp edge of a thriller writer … one of my favorite books of the year.” ―Heather Gudenkauf, New York Times bestselling author of The Overnight Guest“Grabbed me in the first sentence and didn’t let go until the very end. Filled with rich, breathable characters, beautiful prose, and a driving secret at its heart—I devoured this novel.”—Jillian Cantor, USA Today bestselling author of Beautiful Little Fools“A n incredible feat … A gripping cold case mystery AND a compassionate sandwich-generation story AND a study in sapphic longing? Tammy Greenwood knows what she’s doing.”―Amy Shearn, award-winning author of Animal Instinct and Unseen City“Deeply absorbing and rich with tension … T. Greenwood’s latest novel is a triumph … Filled with both poetry and coming-of-age longing. I couldn’t stop reading. This is a book I won’t soon forget.” ―Penny Zang, author of Doll Parts“Tender and wrenching, it is a story of buried truths, forbidden young love, guilt, and the aching nature of unfulfilled hope. T. Greenwood crafts a gorgeously written tale.” ―Karen Winn, author of The Society and Our Little World “A lesson on love, loss, grief, and how one bad decision can reverberate across decades. I will be thinking about this book and its characters for a very long time.”―Mary O’Malley, Virtual Bookseller Skylark Bookshop“Everything Has Happened is a compelling mystery and a stirring depiction of sexual awakening … T. Greenwood paints an engrossing portrait of a small town that is forever changed by secrets and lies. This is “stay up all night” fiction at its finest.”―Pamela Klinger-Horn, Valley Bookseller“This is, without a doubt, T.Greenwood’s most accomplished book yet. Edie, Trill, Charlie, Jericho and Nathan are characters I will carry with me for a long time … I can’t wait to share it with our readers. I blame Everything Has Happened for a few sleepless nights lately!”―Marianne Reiner, La Playa Books“Greenwood suffuses Everything Has Happened with uncertainty, longing, and regret for things done and things left undone … Highly recommended to fans of twisty, aching suspense, like the works of Jennifer McMahon.”―Maryelizabeth Yturralde, bookseller“You feel the push and pull of family obligations and resentments, love and unspoken grief, humor and heartbreak. It’s a memorable mystery, and the twists deliver. Bonus cookies: Gen X-ers will love the flashback scenes for the spot-on 80’s details.”―Elizabeth Bluemle, Flying Pigs Bookstore
