Critics Review

“Social Animals reads much like having and loving a dog. It’s funny, surprising, heartwarming, comforting and the entire adventure goes by much too fast and leaves you wanting to experience it all over again. I devoured this book and you will too.” —Steven Rowley, New York Times bestselling author of The Celebrants and Take Me with You “A charmingly madcap exploration of friendship, loyalty, and the perils and thrills of wanting more from life. Come for the adorable pups, stay for the keen insights into what it takes to truly find one’s chosen family. Social Animals is an absolute joy.” —Kirstin Chen, New York Times bestselling author of Counterfeit“Humorous and tender, Social Animals is a delightful exploration of friendship and community. A true celebration of found family. I adored this book.” —Ashley Herring Blake, USA Today bestselling author of Get Over It, April Evans “Witty, atmospheric and full of heart, Social Animals blends humor and suspense in a way that feels wonderfully real. Perri captures the vulnerability of new friendships, the thrill of hidden truths, and the quiet power of the animals who bring us together. I loved it.” —Joanna Wallace, nationally bestselling author of You’d Look Better as a Ghost“Unabashedly fun and disarmingly tender, Social Animals is a riotous romp through the power and perils of friendship, privilege, and starting anew. With wit and charm, Camille Perri unleashes a perfectly twisty tale you can sink your paws into. Be warned: You’ll turn the last page and find yourself headed to the nearest dog rescue.” —Grace Flahive, author of Palm Meridian“Three very different women collide in this hilarious, surprising, suspenseful novel. With twists upon twists, secrets wrapped in lies, and friendship sprinkled with sexual tension, I couldn’t read it fast enough. The ending had me screaming. What an absolutely masterful delight. I’m a Camille Perri fan for life.” —Gabrielle Korn, author of The Shutouts
