Barbara Baynton (Author)
Barbara Baynton (1857-1929) had her first short story published in the Bulletin in 1896. Her short stories were collected in Bush Studies, and she published a novel, Human Toll.
Helen Garner (Introducer)
Helen Garner writes novels, stories, screenplays, and works of non-fiction. She is the winner of the Melbourne Prize for Literature, the Windham Campbell Prize for Non-Fiction, the Australia Council Award for Lifetime Achievement in Literature, and the Australian Society of Authors Medal.
