Lucy Christopher
Lucy Christopher is a British-Australian writer. Her debut young adult novel, Stolen, received numerous accolades, including a Michael L. Printz Honor Book designation, the 2011 USBBY Outstanding International Book Award, and the UK’s Branford Boase Award.
Christopher has authored several other novels for young people. She previously served as the director of the MA in Writing for Young People at Bath Spa University and is currently a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Tasmania.
Release, a companion novel to Stolen, marks her first novel for adults. When she is not writing, Lucy enjoys daydreaming, walking dogs, and visiting family and friends around the globe. She holds a deep passion for the preservation of wild environments.
