Richard Pevear is a translator of Yves Bonnefoy, Alberto Savinio, and Pavel Florensky. He has also published two books of poetry. Pevear has received fellowships for translation from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Ingram Merrill Foundation, and the Guggenheim Foundation. He was also awarded a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities to support his translation of The Brothers Karamazov.
