About The Author

Lesley Eames

Lesley is an author of historical sagas, with settings that span from the early 1900s through the Roaring 20s to World War II. Her first series was the Wartime Bookshop, and her new series is The Wartime Newspaper Girls.

Lesley has enjoyed success in competitions ranging from crime writing to writing for children. She is particularly honored to have won the Festival of Romance’s New Talent Award, the Romantic Novelists’ Association’s Elizabeth Goudge Trophy, and to have been shortlisted in the UK Romantic Novel Awards (RONAs) three times.

Lesley is also a creative-writing tutor and mentor.
