Love Ssega
Love Ssega is a musician, producer, and performing artist of Ugandan heritage, creating work that blurs the lines of civic engagement, understanding, activism, and hope. Justice and climate activism are woven through his artistic practice.
He is an Associate Artist at the Southbank Centre from 2024-2027. His work has been commissioned by institutions including the National Gallery, Royal Shakespeare Company, Serpentine, and Whitechapel Gallery. He served as the Philharmonia Orchestra’s Artist in Residence for the 2022-23 season and was a featured co-writer for the Southbank’s Imagine a Story project, selected by lead author Sita Brahmachari.
