Dougie Poynter
Dougie Poynter has been fascinated by dinosaurs since a childhood visit to the Natural History Museum. He is passionate about the natural world and is a keen conservationist, working with charities such as WWF and Greenpeace to advocate for environmental protection.
Dougie co-wrote songs with Tom Fletcher for many years in the bands McFly and McBusted. They now apply the same collaborative approach to writing their bestselling Dinosaur that Pooped books, which have sold over a million copies.
