About The Author

Casper Dee

Cas holds a Master of Creative Writing, Publishing, and Editing from the University of Melbourne, where Low Tide was developed as her thesis project and awarded first-class honours.

Her short story ‘Afterdeath’ was published in the Underdog anthology edited by Tobias Madden. Her essay ‘How to Swim out of a Rip’ was featured in Vox Populi, published through Bowen Street Press.

She has an intense love for the Victorian coastline, and when she’s not writing, you’ll catch her out on the waves. Cas also has a passion for mental health support. In her day job, she manages a psychology clinic and runs trauma-informed yoga programs.
