Nikki Mcclure
Niki McClure created her first papercut artwork in 1996 for the book Apple. She has continued creating papercut art ever since, dedicating her time to producing a yearly calendar and children’s books.
In the summer months, she sails north to explore islands, observe birds, commune with moss, gather berries, and swim in the Salish Sea. McClure exhibits her artwork annually at Land Gallery in Portland, Oregon, every November.
She resides in Olympia, Washington, with her husband and son, living amongst cedar trees on the eastern shore of the southern Salish Sea. McClure is also the author of The First 1000 Days, The Next 1000 Days, and Embrace.
