Oku Hiroya
Hiroya Oku is a manga artist renowned for his works Gantz, Zero One, and HEN, all of which were serialized in Young Jump magazine. His manga are characterized by explicit violence, gore, and sexual themes.
In 1988, Oku won the second prize in the Youth Manga Awards under the pen name Yahiro Kuon. He also contributed to the gaming world by designing the character “Shura” for Bandai Namco’s fighting game Soulcalibur IV.
Oku currently resides in Tokyo, Japan.
