Idina Menzel
Cara Mentzel is the author of the debut memoir, Voice Lessons: A Sister’s Story, which was a Good Reads Choice Award nominee in 2017. The memoir details her relationship with her sister, Idina Menzel. Cara lives in Boulder, Colorado, with her husband and their blended family. She holds a master’s degree in elementary education with an emphasis on children’s literacy. After teaching elementary school for over a decade, Cara now dedicates most of her time to writing, though she occasionally returns to the classroom to discuss her favorite books.
Idina Menzel is an acclaimed actor, singer-songwriter, philanthropist, and entrepreneur. She received Tony Award nominations for her Broadway roles in Rent and If/Then, and won a Tony Award for her portrayal of the Wicked Witch in Wicked. Globally, she is recognized as the voice of Elsa in Disney’s Academy Award-winning films Frozen and Frozen 2. Idina has performed on major stages, including the Oscars and the Super Bowl. She is also the co-founder of A Broader Way Foundation, an organization dedicated to amplifying young women’s voices through the arts via leadership development. Jaclyn Sinquett is an illustrator who spent her childhood exploring her father’s garden and feeding seagulls at the Jersey Shore. She currently resides in New Jersey, where she enjoys painting with her daughter, singing enthusiastically in the car, and illustrating children’s books.
