Jonathan Hickman is an award-winning writer and artist known for his critically acclaimed independent titles Pax Romana, Transhuman, and The Nightly News. Hickman also wrote the Dark Reign: Fantastic Four limited series, leading to acclaimed runs on Fantastic Four and FF, as well as two S.H.I.E.L.D. series. He penned numerous Ultimate Universe titles before bringing his intricate plotting to Avengers and New Avengers, culminating in the Marvel Universe-shattering Secret Wars. His lauded Image Comics series include East of West, Secret, and the Eisner Award-nominated The Manhattan Projects. Hickman later returned to Marvel to mastermind a transformative relaunch of its mutant titles, beginning with House of X and Powers of X, and continuing with X-Men.

Esad Ribić is a Croatian artist who broke into the U.S. comic industry with Four Horsemen. His classic European-influenced artistic style attracted the attention of Marvel Comics, leading to a series of painted covers for Wolverine and Kingpin. Ribić’s interior artwork on Loki drew comparisons to Alex Ross, establishing him as a premier painter. His interior art has also graced Silver Surfer: Requiem, Sub-Mariner: The Depths, Uncanny X-Force, and Ultimate Comics Ultimates. Ribić reunited with writer Jonathan Hickman on the event series Secret Wars, and provided epic artwork for Jason Aaron’s Thor: God of Thunder and Kieron Gillen’s Eternals.
