About The Author

Gerry Duggan

Brian Posehn

Brian Posehn fell in love with comic books at a very young age and decided to wait to write them until his forties. Before embarking on a career in comic-book writing, he worked as a standup comedian, TV writer, and film and sitcom actor. Since arriving at Marvel, he feels he’s found his true calling, but will continue to “do the other crap for fun.” Posehn’s collaborations with Gerry Duggan include “The Last Christmas,” a Jaws parody for The Simpsons’ Treehouse of Horror comics, some screenplays and TV ideas, and a baby they are raising together.

Gerry Duggan

Gerry Duggan has become one of Marvel’s most influential writers. He first made an impression at Marvel with a lengthy Deadpool run alongside his frequent writing partner, Brian Posehn. Among Duggan’s solo credits are Nova, Hulk, and multiple tie-ins to the Secret Wars event. He added Deadpool to the revamped roster of Uncanny Avengers and brought his unique blend of action and humor to All-New Guardians of the Galaxy, leading up to the cosmic event series Infinity Wars. Marauders and Cable established him as a vital part of the storytelling team for the Dawn of X era, a role he has cemented further by launching the blockbuster new X-Men title. Duggan’s earlier collaboration with artist Phil Noto, “The Infinite Horizon,” earned an Eisner Award nomination for Best New Series.

Tony Moore

Tony Moore is a comic book artist from Kentucky. He is the co-creator with Robert Kirkman of “The Walking Dead.” He also contributed to books such as “Battle Pope,” “Masters of the Universe,” and “Brit.” Moore collaborated with Rick Remender on “Fear Agent” and Simon Oliver on “The Exterminators.” At Marvel, Moore reunited with Remender for the cult hit “Franken-Castle” and the relaunched “Venom.” His hobbies include watching horror movies, getting fat, and sleeping.

Scott Koblish

Throughout the 1990s, Scott Koblish inked runs on Captain America, Elektra, G.I. Joe, Marc Spector: Moon Knight, Marvel Comics Presents, Punisher War Journal, and multiple titles in the X-Men and 2099 subgenres. He inked his own pencils on “Uncanny X-Men: First Class” and “Wolverine: First Class” before providing art for Marvel Adventures titles. He also inked several limited series set in the MC2 universe. Koblish has since established himself as one of the greatest Deadpool artists of all time.

Mike Hawthorne

Artist, designer, and cartoonist Mike Hawthorne has worked for Marvel Comics, DC/Vertigo, Dark Horse Comics, IDW Publishing, Image, Oni Press, Fox Films, Universal Studios, and other clients. He has earned nominations for Eisner and Harvey awards. Hawthorne’s artwork was a regular feature during Gerry Duggan’s Deadpool run.
