Dan Jurgens
Dan Jurgens is best known for creating the DC Comics hero Booster Gold and for his work on the death of Superman. A writer and artist, Jurgens began his professional career on Warlord before moving on to write Booster Gold, Superman, Adventures of Superman, Zero Hour, and Teen Titans for DC Comics. His credits also include extensive runs on Thor and Captain America for Marvel, as well as the crossover Superman/Fantastic Four. Now in his fourth decade of his career, Jurgens continues to be one of DC’s leading creators.
John Romita Jr. is a modern-day comic art master, following in his legendary father’s footsteps. His work on Iron Man, Uncanny X-Men, Amazing Spider-Man, and Daredevil established him as a distinct artistic voice, and his art for Wolverine and World War Hulk is considered some of the most dynamic comic art of the 21st century. In addition to Eternals with writer Neil Gaiman, Romita Jr. teamed with Mark Millar on the creator-owned Kick-Ass, which was later adapted into a successful film. Fans celebrated his return to Amazing Spider-Man for the “Brand New Day” storylines “New Ways To Die” and “Character Assassination.” He later helped relaunch Avengers with writer Brian Michael Bendis and Captain America with Rick Remender, and contributed to the crossover Avengers vs. X-Men. For DC Comics, he has drawn major characters such as Superman, Batman, and the Suicide Squad.
