Dennis O'Neill

Denny O’Neil’s writing career spans romance, sword-and-sorcery, and Western genres. He wrote four years of Iron Man, including significant changes to the title. His Marvel work includes runs on Amazing Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Power Man and Iron Fist, as well as X-Men- Heroes for Hope. At DC, his Green Lantern/Green Arrow run earned him four Shazam Awards. He also wrote and revamped Batman (co-creating Ra’s al Ghul), Flash, Superman, and Wonder Woman, as well as adaptations of Doc Savage, Justice, Inc., and The Shadow. During the 1980s, he oversaw the death of Robin (Jason Todd). He has written multiple Batman graphic novels and novelizations, as well as The DC Comics Guide to Writing Comics.

John Romita Jr. is a comic-art master. His runs on Iron Man, Uncanny X-Men, Amazing Spider-Man, and Daredevil established him artistically, and his work on Wolverine and World War Hulk is explosive. In addition to Eternals, JRJR teamed with Mark Millar on Kick-Ass. Spidey fans rejoiced at his return to Amazing Spider-Man with the “Brand New Day” storylines. He helped relaunch Avengers and Captain America, and contributed to Avengers vs. X-Men. For DC Comics, he drew Superman, Batman, and the Suicide Squad before returning to Marvel and Amazing Spider-Man.

Frank Miller broke into comics in the late 1970s, working on Daredevil. His work quickly made the title one of Marvel’s best-selling series. During his tenure on Daredevil, he introduced Elektra. After his initial run, Miller returned to Daredevil as writer of “Born Again” and collaborated with John Romita Jr. for the Daredevil- Man Without Fear limited series. In 1986, he made a splash at DC with Batman- The Dark Knight Returns. The following year, Miller reteamed with David Mazzucchelli for Batman- Year One. Miller writes All Star Batman & Robin with Jim Lee. In 2005, Miller collaborated with Robert Rodriquez to co-direct Sin City. Two years later, Miller’s 300 met with success. Miller wrote and directed The Spirit, based on Will Eisner’s hero.
