Ryan North
Ryan North is a writer who launched his comics career through self-publishing with Dinosaur Comics, which has published over 2,000 web-based strips. He has described this as “basically the best job ever.” In 2012, BOOM! Studios commissioned him to write their new Adventure Time series, based on the popular cartoon.
North made his Marvel debut in 2014, writing the Young Avengers chapters of Original Sins. He achieved Eisner Award-winning success with the series The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, elevating an unlikely character to solo title stardom. He also wrote the solo title Lockjaw in Inhumans: Once and Future Kings. His innovative work extends to Romeo and/or Juliet: A Chooseable-Path Adventure, where he rewrote the Shakespearean rulebook.
Iban Coello
Iban Coello is an artist who made a digital impact with Dungeon Siege III for Dark Horse. He also worked on Batman Beyond 2.0 and Justice League Beyond 2.0 for DC Comics, where he also contributed to the print title Superboy.
At Marvel, Coello has made his mark on titles such as Deadpool & the Mercs for Money and Captain America and the Mighty Avengers. He is rapidly gaining recognition for his dynamic superhero artwork, notably on the blockbuster limited series Venomverse and Venomized.
