Jonathan Hickman
Jonathan Hickman is an award-winning writer and artist known for his critically acclaimed independent titles Pax Romana, Transhuman, and The Nightly News. He launched Marvel’s Secret Warriors with writer Brian Michael Bendis, which spun out of Secret Invasion. Hickman then wrote the Dark Reign: Fantastic Four limited series, leading to his revered runs on Fantastic Four and FF, as well as two S.H.I.E.L.D. series. He penned numerous Ultimate Universe titles before bringing his intricate plotting to Avengers and New Avengers. Hickman’s years of planning culminated in the Marvel Universe-shattering Secret Wars.
His impressive list of credits also includes a trio of lauded series for Image: East of West, Secret, and the Eisner Award-nominated The Manhattan Projects. Hickman later returned to Marvel to mastermind a transformative relaunch of its mutant titles, beginning with House of X and Powers of X, and continuing with X-Men.
Bryan Hitch
Bryan Hitch is one of comics’ premier artists, gaining fame for his dynamic and detailed artwork on The Authority and JLA. His other credits include Marvel’s Sensational She-Hulk and X-Men; Marvel UK’s Action Force, Doctor Who, Mys-Tech Wars, and Death’s Head; DC’s Superman; and Image’s Stormwatch. Hitch’s collaboration with writer Mark Millar on The Ultimates, Ultimates 2, and Fantastic Four established him as a comics mega-star. He continued to burnish his reputation on books including Captain America: Reborn, Age of Ultron, and Venom. Hitch has also provided character designs for the animated films Ultimate Avengers and Ultimate Avengers 2, and the video game Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction.
