What They're Saying

Critics Review

★ “[A] luminous, sweetly conspiratorial tale…. As this gently exhilarating nighttime journey winds down, a glimpse at the glittering sky leads to Quinn’s realization that there’s more than one kind of treasure: those one can pocket, and those beyond reach that fill one with wonder.” —Publishers Weekly, starred review

★ “The magic of the night is real in this treasure of a story.” —School Library Journal, starred review

“Wortche’s text has a poetic quality that jibes with Farrell’s mixed-media art….A revelatory make-your-own-adventure story.” —Kirkus Reviews

“This lyrical paean to the pleasures of paying attention and spending time together may inspire families to make their own nighttime sojourns.” —The Horn Book
