About The Author
Sarah Sax
Sarah is dedicated to fostering a love of reading and nurturing creative confidence in young readers. She honed her skills in Storytelling and Sequential Imagery at Hampshire College. Her experience as an educator at the Children’s Creativity Museum in San Francisco and as a volunteer with 826 Valencia has shaped her passion for engaging with children. As Creative Director at Lumosity, she led a team of artists collaborating with scientists and game designers to develop engaging brain-training games focused on problem-solving and memory.
Sarah is the illustrator of the first three books in the innovative, interactive Escape This Book! series: Titanic, Tombs of Egypt, and Race to the Moon. This series has been translated into eight languages. Picture Day marks her debut graphic novel and the first in her Brinkley Yearbooks series, which will include four graphic novels. Sarah currently resides in Portland, Maine.
