Carole Boston Weatherford
Carole Boston Weatherford is a two-time NAACP Image Award winner and a Children’s Literature Legacy Award winner. She is the author of:

Born in Baltimore, Weatherford now teaches at Fayetteville State University in North Carolina.
Frank Morrison
Frank Morrison began his artistic journey as a graffiti artist in New Jersey. His path shifted towards painting after a visit to the Louvre Museum in Paris. His work has been exhibited at various art fairs and galleries, including Art Basel and the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture.
He is the illustrator of over twenty children’s books, including:

- Jazzy Miz Mozetta (Coretta Scott King-John Steptoe Award winner)
