About The Author
Michael Bond
Michael Bond is the much celebrated author of Paddington Bear. He was born in Berkshire in 1926 and he served in the Royal Air Force and the British Army before working as a cameraman for BBC TV. In 2015 he was awarded the CBE for his services to children’s literature.
