Harold Abelson is Class of 1922 Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at MIT and Founding Director of Creative Commons, Public Knowledge, and the Free Software Foundation. He is the coauthor of the widely used textbook Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs and other books.
