About The Author
Eric Hill
Eric Hill (1927-2014) began his artistic journey as an art studio messenger, progressing to become a cartoonist and then an art director at a prominent advertising agency. In 1978, he created a story about a puppy for his son’s bedtime, giving birth to the character Spot. The remarkable success of his debut lift-the-flap book, Where’s Spot?, in 1980, inspired him to dedicate himself full-time to writing. His Spot books have since delighted children globally. In 2008, he was honored with an OBE for his contributions to children’s literacy.
