Simon Blackburn is a Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge, and the Emeritus Bertrand Russell Professor of Philosophy at the University of Cambridge.
He is the author of many books, including:

His books have sold over 150,000 copies in English and have been translated into more than 20 languages.
Blackburn was a Fellow and Tutor at Pembroke College, Oxford, from 1969 to 1989. From 1990 to 2000, he was the Edna J. Koury Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He also edited the journal Mind from 1984 to 1990.
