Gideon Haigh is a historian, writer, and passionate cricket enthusiast with over 22 years of experience covering sport and business. He has authored several notable books, including Mystery Spinner, The Big Ship, The Summer Game, Game for Anything, and The Ashes 2005.
With a journalism career spanning more than three decades, Haigh has contributed to over a hundred newspapers and magazines. He has published thirty-two books and edited seven others. His works have received critical acclaim: The Office: A Hardworking History earned him the NSW Premier’s Literary Award for Non-Fiction; On Warne was shortlisted for the Melbourne Prize for Literature; and Certain Admissions received the 2016 Ned Kelly Award for True Crime.
