Nicholas Foulkes
Nicholas Foulkes is the author of over 20 books, including his most recent titles, Bernard Buffet: The Invention of the Modern Mega-artist and Patek Phillipe: The Authorized Biography. His works have been published by a variety of imprints, including Little, Brown, Weidenfeld & Nicolson, Flammarion, Assouline, Random House, and Thomas Dunne Books in the USA.
He is a prolific contributor to numerous newspapers and magazines globally. For more than two decades, he has penned the Bolivar cigar column for Country Life. He holds contributing editor positions at How To Spend It magazine (published by the FT) and Vanity Fair, and serves as the luxury editor for British GQ. In addition, he launched and continues to edit Vanity Fair’s biannual watch magazine, On Time.
In 2007, he was honored as Havana Man of the Year by the Cuban government, having been nominated for this award on four previous occasions. Foulkes is a graduate of Hertford College, Oxford, and resides in London with his wife and two sons.
