About The Author
Philippe Boxis
Philippe Boxis is a self-taught man. Inspired by Japanese bondage iconography, he made a decision at the age of fifty to go to Japan to find the masters of his life’s art. When he met Steve Osada, it was an absolute revelation: he could finally put a name to what he had always been feeling deep within himself. That’s how Philippe, a professional photographer, started a new life. From then on, he combined photography with Shibari, or rather, he put photography to good use for his art in order to share it with the world.
