About The Author
Joshua Weissman
Joshua Weissman isn’t your average culinary genius. However, to describe him in one word is like leaving the main ingredient out of a great recipe. He’s chef-y, he’s eccentric, and he’s a lot over-the-top in everything he does–from creating energetic and engaging content, to capturing sumptuous photography, to cooking everything (seriously, everything) from scratch. His love of food and proper technique fuels his creative point of view while entertaining his social media audience of more than 8 million like-minded fans. Before creating his Youtube channel, Joshua worked at two James Beard award-winning restaurants– Odd Duck and Uchiko– as well as at Emmer & Rye, which was named “Bon Appetit’s Best New Restaurant.” Most recently, in collaboration with Tyson Cole, Joshua contributed to the menu and development of Aaron Franklin’s newest restaurant Loro. Joshua can be seen chopping it up on TikTok, his popular Youtube channel, Facebook, and Instagram. He currently resides in Texas and plans on taking over the internet one recipe at a time.
