About The Author
Joseph Lindsay
Joseph Lindsay’s military career in the British Army spanned almost thirty years. Originally infantry, both Regular and Territorial Army, he joined the Intelligence Corps TA, spending twenty years in the Corps of which five were spent with the Regular Intelligence Corps. He saw action in Afghanistan with Helmand Task Force and spent four years in Iraq with Private Security Companies in support of the US Army Corps of Engineers, and as an analyst for BP amongst others. He also worked in Africa as a security officer on gold mines in the 1980’s. At one time a World expert in Counter Terrorism, having worked in DIS and JTAC, he was also a PTI, Drill instructor and coach for shooting, being described once as ‘the only PTI I’ve ever met who isn’t a psycho’. As a child, he won awards for his writing, and it has only taken him about another fifty years to pursue his childhood passion.
