He is a coeditor of The Nature of Consciousness- Philosophical Debates (MIT Press, 1997).Tyler Burge is Distinguished Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of California, Los Angeles.William G. Lycan is Professor of Philosophy at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.Hilary Putnam was Walter Beverly Pearson Professor of Mathematical Logic at Harvard University.Michael Tye is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin.
