About the Author

Matt Oldfield grew up in Southampton, playing football with his brother Tom. The two brothers are the authors of the bestselling Ultimate Football Heroes series – fun football biographies that tell the exciting life stories of superstars like Gareth Bale, Lionel Messi and Mo Salah, from the playground through to the pitch. He is also the author of the Johnny Ball: Football Genius series and Unbelievable Football, which won the Telegraph Children’s Sports Book of the Year in 2020. He has also written books on cricket and rugby. He lives in Bristol.

Seth Burkett is a former professional footballer and futsal player who is now a writer. He played professional football in Brazil for Sorriso EC and also in Sri Lanka. Seth now dedicates his time to writing and speaking in schools. He lives in Berkshire.
