Addie and her sister are on an epic road trip to a friend's wedding in rural Scotland. But, not long after setting off, a car slams into theirs. The driver is none other than Addie's ex, who she hasn't seen since their traumatic break-up two years earlier.

Dylan and his best mate are heading to the wedding too, so Addie has no choice but to offer them a ride. And with four hundred miles to go, they can't avoid confronting the very messy history of their relationship . . .

Will they make it to the wedding? And, more importantly, is this really the end of the road for Addie and Dylan?

Critic Reviews

“I loved The Road Trip and think it's O'Leary's best yet. Moody and wise, exploring the contrast between the all-consuming recklessness of first love and what happens years on, after the break up, after the end. And all in a closed-set car journey . . . O'Leary has a knack for articulating the things we all think and feel in relationships”

A charming, heartfelt story of love found and love potentially lost - The Road Trip is steamy and sexy, properly witty, and unabashedly romantic. I couldn't get enough! I loved the glimpses into "then" and "now". Nobody does it like Beth does Laura Jane Williams
