SPECIFICATIONS: A 500-piece puzzle, printed full-color on high quality stock, with a bonus booklet and poster showing the completed puzzle image.

DIMENSIONS: When completed, this puzzle measures approximately 16 X 20".

BILINGUAL BOOK INCLUDED: This set includes a fully illustrated 32-page, paperback booklet (5 X 6 inches) full of biographical information about 25 Latinas/os throughout U.S. history and striking, full-color portraits by artist Gloria Felix. All text is presented in both English and Spanish.

POSTER WITH BONUS BILINGUAL ACTIVITY INCLUDED: This set also includes a foldout poster (11 X 13") that shows the completed puzzle image to be used as reference or keepsake, along with a backside that features a bonus guided activity for those wishing to draw their own Latina/o hero portraits. About the Author

The Smithsonian Latino Center is the corazon of Latinidad at the Smithsonian. It works toward preserving Latino history and culture, engaging Latino communities, and advancing Latino representation in the United States. Since 1997, SLC has successfully ensured that the contributions of the Latino community are celebrated and represented throughout the Smithsonian.

Gloria Felix was born and raised in Uruapan, a beautiful small city in Michoacan, Mexico, one of her biggest inspirations when it comes to Art. Her favorite things to do growing up were drawing, watching cartoons, and eating, which still are some of her favorite things to do. Currently, she lives and paints in Los Angeles.
