A secret wife. A secret life. A killer who knows. The #1 bestseller that will keep you on the edge of your seat until its shocking climax, by multimillion-copy selling author Michael Robotham.

William and Mary have been married sixty years. William is a celebrated surgeon, Mary a devoted wife. Both are strong believers in right and wrong.

William and Olivia have been together twenty years. Olivia was once a tennis star, but her career has long since faded.

Clinical psychologist Joe O'Loughlin knows only one of these stories to be true. But when he is called to his father's hospital bed after a brutal attack, everything he once knew is turned upside down. Is it possible his father, the upstanding citizen, was leading a double life?

And who is the strange woman crying at William's bedside, covered in his blood - a friend, a mistress, a fantasist or a killer?

A confronting psychological thriller from one of the greatest crime writers of today, Michael Robotham, the bestselling author of THE SECRETS SHE KEEPS.

PRAISE FOR THE OTHER WIFE:

'Michael Robotham has produced a fine novel, by turns elegiac, chagrined and defiant' Weekend Australian

Critic Reviews

“Michael Robotham is the real deal. - David BaldacciI love this guy's books. - Lee ChildAn insightful psychological thriller about the joys and fears of impending motherhood. ( The Secrets She Keeps ) - New York TimesTwo terrific female characters, both with secrets. Add Michael Robotham's clean prose and whipcrack pacing. The result? A book you won't be able to put down, although you may occasionally want to hide your eyes. ( The Secrets She Keeps ) - Stephen KingMulti-award winning Australian author and master of reinvention Michael Robotham has done it again - another accomplished crime novel unlike anything he has written before. ( The Secrets She Keeps ) - Sydney Morning HeraldRobotham's crime thrillers are at the top of the genre's food chain - Kirkus Reviews The Secrets She Keeps is Sydney-based Michael Robotham's 12th novel and is as brilliant as his recent Close Your Eyes and Life or Death , which won the UK Crime Writers Association Gold Dagger award in 2015. It begins as an acute, psychologically penetrating character study before moving into hair-raising thriller territory in the second and third acts... This is a taut, scary and effective thriller but it's also a sociological portrait of a society where cupidity, stupidity and fame often coalesce to make a toxic brew. - Weekend Australian”

The Other Wife is all about what it means to be a father. It's also a book about coming to terms with the past in ways that allow us to move on - The Age

Michael Robotham takes many of the tropes of the domestic thriller, but elevates them into something more substantial through his superior writing. - Canberra Weekly

Crime fiction at its most compelling. - Hobart Mercury

This absorbing novel will make you wish there was another O'Loughlin episode to come. - Weekend West

Michael Robotham has hinted that this clever psychological thriller may be the last outing for the Parkinson's-plagued shrink. If so, it's a worthy final act. - Qantas Magazine

A crime writer at the top of his game. - The Australian

Michael Robotham is the real deal. - David Baldacci
