Summary
The Type 96 wheeled armored vehicle is the first full-scale wheeled armored vehicle used by the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, deployed since 1996. This kit reproduces the Type 96 with its 40mm automatic gun – the most commonly found version of this vehicle. The front two sets of wheels are steerable after assembly, the rear hatch can be partly opened and closed, and the interior details include the fire extinguisher, benches and more.
