Zoë Foster Blake
Zoë Foster Blake writes fiction, non-fiction and children’s picture books because she enjoys hijacking shelf space across multiple genres in bookshops. Zoë has written four novels, Air Kisses, Playing the Field, The Younger Man and The Wrong Girl; three self-help/relationship books, Textbook Romance, Break-Up Boss and LOVE!, and Amazinger Face, a collection of her best beauty tips and tricks after spending years as a beauty director. Zoe¨’s first picture book, No One Likes a Fart, was released in 2017 and was the fastest-selling Australian picture book since Bookscan records began. (People DO like farts!) It’s a sales record-breaker and a bookseller favourite with over 120,000 copies sold. It won the ABIA for Picture Book of the Year in 2018, and has also been published in North America, Italy and Japan. She published a sequel, Fart and Burp are Superstinkers in 2021, following Back to Sleep in 2020. Zoë lives in Springfield with her husband, Homer, and her three children, Maggie, Lisa and Bart.
Daniel Gray-Barnett
Daniel Gray-Barnett is an illustrator and author from the Huon Valley, Tasmania. He likes to think of himself as someone who was put on this planet to tell a few stories before he turns into a grumpy old man. He’s worked with clients including Disney, Kiehl’s, Sydney Opera House and The New York Times and his first picture book, Grandma Z, won a Children’s Book Council of Australia award for Best New Illustrator. When he’s not in the studio, he can be found daydreaming in the garden with his husband, German pointers and chickens.
