David's family think he's come home for the anniversary of his Dad's death. But he's got another reason to return home he's working to broker a deal with a mining company to dig up his own sacred land and hopefully get them all out of poverty forever.

About the Author

Zac James is a Wonguktha, Yamaji and Murri man. He has been a playwright, screen and stage actor, and a film maker with more than 15 years experience in the arts industry. He is a passionate change maker, advocate and speaker for his mob.

Zac is a Creative Director at Yirra Yaakin Aboriginal Theatre Company. Zac is the director of the short film Marlu Man (2023).
