This is a very inspiring story, I’m not a great reader but I couldn’t put the book down.
A vivid reminder of the dangers and atrocities that occur under a dictatorial regime and a communist Marxist ideology.
This book shines light on the importance of use of words and language, and the overall importance to having a fundamental education.
All at the young age of 13, she was able to show resilience in the face of complete hopelessness.
It would be hard to believe an adult in the western world today would have managed the same trials and tribulations with as much metal fortitude as she did as a young girl.
