Yasunaga Ogita
Yasunaga Ogita
Yasunaga Ogita is an Arctic explorer who has participated in numerous expeditions—many of them solo—in the Canadian Arctic Circle, Greenland, Hokkaido, and other arctic areas for more than two decades. In 2018, he was the first Japanese person to reach the South Pole unsupported. In 2017, he was awarded the Naomi Uemura Adventure Award. He has trekked over 10,000 km across the Arctic and Antarctic.
Nana Inoue
Nana Inoue is an author and artist. The special edition of her book Kuma Made No Osarai won a Silver Medal at the “Best Book Design from all over the world” awards in Leipzig, Germany. Her books include Chchnannan (A butterfly effect; Akane Shobo), Neko no Miira (A Cat named Miira; Horinouchi Publishing), and Hoshi ni ehon wo tsunagu (Connecting picture books and stars; Raichosha).
