Yang Chen
Yang Chen is an Associate Professor and Ph.D. supervisor at the College of Architecture and Urban Planning at Tongji University, with a research focus on the conservation of World Heritage sites. He is a member of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) and currently serves as Deputy Secretary-General of the Cultural Landscape Committee of the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture.
He has led a series of national and ministerial-level research projects and has published over 60 peer-reviewed academic papers. In recent years, he has explored the Jiangnan gardens through the lens of digital technology, culminating in the publication of Garden Heritage Digital Document: Heyuan Garden/Yangzhou (2020). This work contributes to the global exchange and promotion of traditional Chinese culture.
