About The Author

William Robinson

William Robinson is a former student of the University of York, graduating with a BA in History in 2023. Born in 2002, he has harbored a lifelong fascination with history, with a particular fondness for the Napoleonic Wars and the life of the Duke of Wellington.

During his time at university, he concentrated his academic research on the Duke of Wellington, initially focusing on his military career and his relationship with the British government between 1809 and 1814. More recently, his work has shifted to Wellington’s civilian and political life after 1815, with a specific interest in the numerous memoranda he authored.

William currently resides in South Yorkshire.
