Summary

In this manual on how to forgive, there are insights and exercises without a preachy message or assumption that people “should” forgive. With chapters that explain what forgiveness is and how to deal with obstacles to it, it also addresses reconciliation with others and one’s own self. Practical and accessible, the book does not require religious practice or philosophy; it simply shows how to forgive in order to enhance self-esteem, be happier, and break free from limitations that can hold a person back.

Critics Review

“William Martin has written a powerful guide book on learning how to forgive, not just our brothers and sisters, but also ourselves.”

“William Martin has created an enlightening User’s Guide for forgiveness. Thoroughly researched. Hugely insightful. Very practical. I recommend it wholeheartedly.” * Robert Holden, author of Shift Happens! and Loveability *“William Martin has written a powerful guide book on learning how to forgive, not just our brothers and sisters, but also ourselves.” * Jon Mundy, Ph.D. author of Living A Course in Miracles *“A deep gold mine full of rich and relevant information.” * William Bloom, author of The Endorphin Effect and The Power Of Modern Spirituality *“Forgiveness is Power is a powerful book that not only teaches us how to forgive others, but also ourselves, which is oftentimes much harder to do. Learning how to forgive is not easy, but it can be done, especially with such powerful motivational guides as this. This book explains why forgiveness is so important, the four steps to forgive, choose to blame or choose to learn, judgment, guilt, cynicism, apologizing, and much, much more! Forgiving others can help make you a happier person, motivate you to live the life you want to live, and even enhance your self-esteem. It is really something that everyone needs to learn how to do to create the life they want to live. If you or someone you know needs to learn how to forgive and move on with life, this is definitely the book for them! I highly recommend it.” * Sheri Newton, Sheri’s World *“The way we treat others has an effect not only on them, but perhaps to an even greater degree on ourselves. However, it is not always easy or straightforward to simply turn on a positive feeling and this book is a guide to one of the most powerful of the emotional pantheon. Foregiveness can be an inner process fraught with difficulties and this book is a guide through the obstacles and traps that may be strewn in your way. Foregiveness as explained here is not just about how we treat others but how we treat ourselves, too.” * Bill Anderton, Pilgrims mbs *
