About The Author

W.H. Hudson

W. H. Hudson was a writer, naturalist, and founding member of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. Born and raised in Argentina, he settled in England in 1874. The author of numerous works of fiction and non-fiction, his writing was acclaimed by both Jorge Luis Borges and Ernest Hemingway, and his work is now considered part of the national literature of Argentina. He died in Worthing, Sussex, in 1922.
